How to retire early, than change your mind can be a great idea

Christopher Farrell article gives an unusual angle and suggests that sometimes is worth to retire early and to change your mind a few years later by reapplying and pay the government the benefits that you have been receive. Click here to find how.
According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, retirement is the point where a person stops employment completely. But how that can be obtained in the United States considering all the major changes that have been happening over in the last couple of years in this country? That's what I would like to figure out because one day I truly expect to be able to retire in style!

So many things have been written on this subject but no matter how much I read about it I can't find a easy answer to what I'm looking for. I grew up seeing my parents relaxed because their pension and the money they saved over the years would allow to take it easy when they retired. They were very lucky. I just want to be able to do exactly the same but now that's becoming more of a Dream and I finally realize that it's time to start worrying about it because no one else (not even Social Security) will be enought to allow me to live without worries after the age of 65.
